These change what the bot recommends and how much it tells you to buy. The broker cost figures matter more than anything else on this page.
| What | Rows | Why you would want it | Download |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trade journal | 5 | Every position opened and closed, with its R multiple. This is the one you need at tax time. | CSV · JSON |
| Saved theses | 2 | What you argued, when, at what price, and how it turned out. | CSV · JSON |
| Measured strategy record | 3,528 | Every back-test result the bot has accumulated. The slowest thing here to rebuild from scratch. | CSV · JSON |
| Analysis history | 0 | Every call the bot has made, so you can check it against what happened afterwards. | nothing yet |
The measured strategy record is the slowest of these to rebuild, because it is the accumulated result of back-testing everything you have looked at. Keep a copy of it before doing anything drastic to the database.
Settings are written to config.json in the project folder. You can edit that file directly if you prefer; the two stay in sync. The database lives in data/stockbot.db. Both can be moved elsewhere with the STOCKBOT_CONFIG and STOCKBOT_DB environment variables, which is how you keep a paper journal separate from a live one.
Analysis software, not financial advice.
Every figure here is measured from historical price data and can stop
describing the future at any moment. Day trading loses money for the large
majority of retail participants, and this tool's own measurements agree with
that. Never risk money you cannot afford to lose.
